Michael C. O'Malley
Michael C. O'Malley is a partner in the firm's General Liability department. Michael is a graduate of the Hofstra University School of Law, where he served as Research Editor of the Hofstra Labor Law Journal, and was a member of the National Moot Court Team in 1996 and 1997. He is admitted to practice law in New York State and Massachusetts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He started his legal career as a Public Defender in the Brooklyn office of the Legal Aid Society, where he tried more than 50 cases to verdict in two years. Since moving to civil practice, Michael's cases have ranged from basic personal injury matters through complex Labor Law cases, as well as multi-million dollar commercial property damage cases. He has served as an advisor to the Bayside High School Mock Trial Team, and continues to serve as a judge in the Hofstra University School of Law's annual moot court competition.
